NANCY NICHOLS

Nancy Nichols received her MFA in Painting from Indiana State University in 2000, and her BFA in Drawing from the University of Southern Maine in 1996. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including an Indiana Arts Commission Artists Project Grant, and a Focus Indiana Initiative Award (with Dr. Brad Venable) for the creation of public art in Terre Haute. Her work is widely exhibited throughout the United States, and she is represented by Susan Maasch Fine Art in Portland, Maine, and by Halcyon Contemporary Art in Terre Haute, Indiana. She has served as Assistant Professor of Painting at Indiana State University since 2004, and she lives in Terre Haute with her husband, Jonathan, and their two children.
